Week 2-4 Journal Response

Wow! Moving from Afghanistan to California must be extremely different. Fall is here in Cali! One of my favorite seasons of the year. In California our falls are cuddle weather, our falls are sweater jeans, boots, and the occasional scarf. Our falls are rain storms and thunder. When you walk outside the house you will get a smell of fresh rain and leaves. The Cali air in the fall is just the perfect balance of  cold air. When you breath it in it is so refreshing! You will taste the best American meal burgers and fries in Cali! You can also choose from varieties of Mexican food. If you like fireworks you will enjoy our fourth of July throw down! We do it big here in California. If you hate scary movies then Halloween in Cali is not for you! Our Halloweens are scary you'll think you're in a horror movie. If you walk into Grandma's kitchen during Halloween town you're going to smell the yummy smell of pumpkin spice, candy corn, apple cider and pumpkin seeds! My mother is always baking Cranberry pie and Jam, the best you will ever taste.One of my favorite times of year.

Week 1-4

What suprised me about Aimee's video is that she had fake legs, i couldn't tell at all until there was a pic of her in different prosthetics. Aimee changed my view about beauty, limitations, and possibilities. She made me realize about limitations that just because someone is disabled doesnt mean they can't do everything everybody else can. She made me realize even disabled people can do anything they put there mind too. She made me realize how society picture beautiful women. Theres no saying whos beautiful and whos not. Just because someone has a disabilty doesnt mean they can't be beautiful; Aimee proved that being a disabled model. Aimee also changed my view about possibilties, anything is possible despite the restrictions.
